Arrived very quickly. This is a vinyl map case and is large enough for a standard uk os map. The black end is solid so there will be no leakage through the cord holes. The actual useable dimensions are about 26cm x 27cm. The press closed seal seems secure and did not come undone when a shook the case. I have not taken it for a walk in the rain yet but seems like it should work.

A good quality map case and useful to use with british ordnance survey 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 maps. They make it easy to use a map in the open: waterproof, and they protect the map from excessive wear from always opening it. These maps cases are getting used. Thank you ! :-)

The case is well-made, but the length of the case is not 31.5 cm but 31 cm. Most importantly, keep in mind that the seller does not indicate useful dimensions for capacity. You need to subtract 4 cm from the top length, which is the width of the dark stripe, and one centimeter from the bottom of the adhesive tape. Therefore, 5 cm minus from 31 cm will result in a maximum length of 26 cm that you can fit your tablet into, and the width of 28 cm needs to be subtracted by one cm, resulting in a width of 27 cm and a length of 26 cm. My 12-inch tablet did not fit, which is why I bought this case. The size specified by the seller as 31.5x28 doesn't match at all around the edges, and they're buying it mainly for tablets. My tablet is 28 cm long and neither the length nor width matches, but it's listed as 31.5. So keep in mind, the seller is misleading with the size information.
